As part of the 1stAssociated service were able to meet the surveyor at the property which we found to be very helpful. The report highlighted issues with the property we were not aware of which left me feeling a bit negative but we at least now know what we are buying and the problems we need to address once we are finally in the property so overall I am pleased we decided to have a full Building Survey.

We instructed 1stAssociated to carry out a Quinquennial survey for us on the church as we were not happy with the surveyor we used for the last one.

Save money with a Building Survey
We chose 1stAssociated to survey a Grade ll listed property for us as we were advised they had surveyors specialising in listed buildings. We met the surveyor at the property who was very knowledgeable and a great help. The surveyor found issues with the roof which will cost us money to sort so as a result of the surveyor highlighting these problems we have been able to negotiate money off of the property price which is a great help.
We would definitely use 1stAssociated again should the need arise and will recommend them to friends and family that need a survey in the future.

Schedules of Condition save money
After receiving a detailed Schedule of Condition on the pub we managed to get the roofs exempt from the lease and the extractor has been cleaned. We are on a temporary agreement at the minute as the owners are still waiting for there mortgage to complete.

Extremely Helpful Building Surveyors
Myself and my sister inherited this property from our parents. It has been the family home for over 50 years, with our parents continuing to live there after we left. We are planning on selling the property and wanted it checked to make sure it was structurally ok so there were no suprises when we do come to sell it. We met the surveyor at the property who was extremely helpful and gave us some really great advice.
