Building Surveys with many very helpful photos and sketches
I contacted the surveyors with regards to a property I was looking at buying on a canal. The surveyor was brilliant! I met him at the property and he gave me lots of valuable information on the day. The surveyor even advised me on a course I could attend about looking after listed buildings!
The survey itself was easy to understand and I found the many photos and sketches within the report very helpful.

Building Surveys with solutions and costs
We booked a survey on a Victorian/Edwardian mid terrace property we were looking at purchasing. We met the surveyor at the property on the day of the survey. The surveyor was very knowledgeable.
We received an easy to understand report with lots of photos of the property throughout which we liked. The report even included anticipated costs for work required which we found very useful when obtaining quotes. Easy to understand building survey
Alongside the Schedule of Condition we were also given a free property report which has proven to be really useful as it highlighted issues with the roof and dampness within the toilets.
The reports were easy to understand and the use of sketches within the reports to further explain things was really helpful.

Easy to read Building Surveys
Following on from the survey carried out by 1stAssociated I did not go ahead with the purchase as thankfully, the survey picked up that it is a non-traditional building (which was outside my risk appetite). The survey report was easy to read and the surveyor was both friendly and really knowledgeable, thorough and patient and he explained the main sections of the report with an offer to answer further questions if these came up.

Very detailed Building Surveys
This is my mums house we are thinking of buying and we wanted to get an idea of works that needed doing and costs before we put our house on the market. The survey carried out by 1stAssociated provided just that. The report was great and very detailed.
At present due to the things the report highlighted we are not making any firm decisions but the report has been useful to us all. My mum is now fully aware of the condition of the house and what needs doing so the survey was a real benefit to everyone.

Save thousands of pounds with a Building Survey
From our first conversation wth 1stAssociated to date we have been very happy with the service. After being talked through the process and advised how 1stAssociated could help us with this Grade ll* listed property we were sent a very detailed example survey. On deciding to instruct them to survey everything was arranged efficiently.
The survey highlighted issues with the property and as a result of having the survey we have been able to negotiate a £27,000 saving on the price. The vendors have also agreed to sort the asbestos tiles on the outbuilding roof, instruct an aboriculturist to look at the trees close to the property and also undertake detailed gas and electric checks. Without having the information from 1stAssociated we would not have been able to agree all of this. Due to commitments I was unable to meet the surveyor on the day of the survey but have had conversations with him since and have found him to be very helpful, especially with explaining things in a way that was easy for us to understand.

Peace of mind Listed building surveys
A great building survey on a Grade ll listed property. The surveyor covered all of my concerns and more and although I was unable to meet him at the property due to the vendors not agreeing I have had some great phone conversations with him which have been so helpful.
