Dilapidations and Negotiations
We have over the years as surveyors been involved in many dilapidation negotiations and in our experience if you are taking on a lease it is best to negotiate at the start when you have a Schedule of Condition attached. This legally protects you from the full repairing insuring lease clauses. If you are a landlord we are equally happy to represent you but again it is best to ensure the tenant/client understands as best as possible what they are renting.
