Dampness Rising Damp, Mould, Black Mould
and Condensation
Increasingly as surveyors we have seen problems with dampness and black mould. This can relate to all sorts of things from the number of showers we are having to the way we are sealing up our buildings and making them airtight to stop heat getting out but it also stops moisture-laden air getting out as well. The general comment is you need to get a good balance of heating and cooling and air circulation and air movement but each case is specific.
