I was concerned about damp I had seen on the kitchen walls on a 1920s - 1930s bungalow I was interested in buying in Farnborough. I decided to have a full building survey carried out on the property and I am so pleased I did. The surveyor was brilliant, very knowledgeable. He met me at the property and discovered problems with the roof as well as the dampness and also found asbestos in the garage roof. He gave me a rough cost for the work required and I am now in negotiations on the price with the vendor before I decide whether to go ahead with the property.
Overall the survey was 100% brilliant!

Very knowledgeable Building Surveyors
We booked a Schedule of Condition survey on a pub we were interested in leasing and were very excited about. We met the surveyor at the pub who was a great guy and very knowledgeable. He advised us certain elements should be excluded from the lease otherwise this would be a high-risk purchase. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no room for negotiation so we will not be going any further with this pub.
We are at present looking for another pub and will not hesitate in using the same surveyor again.

Schedules of Condition save you money
I booked to have a Schedule of Condition carried out on a pub we were looking at leasing. The whole team at 1stAssociated have been very helpful from the start, nothing ever seems to much trouble for them.
The report I received was very clear and concise and from the findings of the report we are now in negotiations which are proving to be painfully slow. If things do not work out with this pub I will not hesitate in using 1stAssociated again.

This was an extremely useful survey on this post war house, the most useful part I found was being able to meet the very knowledgeable surveyor at the property who showed us various issues there and then.
